Katherine Heigl and Ashton Kutcher are a family of Killers (2010)
Hollywood hotties, Ashton Kutcher and Katherine Heigl star in Killers, a 2010 action comedy, alongside screen legend Tom Selleck.
The film is written by Bob DeRossa and Ted Griffin, and directed by Robert Luketic.
Jennifer “Jen” Kornfeldt (Heigl) travels to Nice for a vacation with her parents. There she meets Spencer Aimes (Kutcher) who, unbeknown to her, is an assassin for the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) on assignment.
Heigl is slowly, but surely, making her presence on the big screen comedy scene. The first time I saw was her in a comedy was with Seth Rogan in Knocked Up and as crude as it was – it was funny.
This time she animates Jen with that funny sexy and usually panicky characteristic. Her timing is perfect. I laughed at all her scenes.
Kutcher, although a bit too boyish for the role of an assassin, brings a certain likable quality to the bad boy persona.
The story line, however, has been repeated too often and watching the film gives as sense of déjà vu if you have viewed films like Knight & Day, Mr. & Mrs Smith etc. But that does not stop this movie from bringing a good laugh and light entertainment.
