Furious 7 director to direct Aquaman
Warner Bros has confirmed Furious 7 director James Wan, will be directing the upcoming superhero movie starring Jason Momoa, Aquaman, Forbes reports.
Warner Bros. just announced that director James Wan will helm the upcomingAquaman superhero movie. The film, which is part of WB’s slate of DC Comics superhero films set in a shared cinematic universe, stars Jason Momoa as the title character and features a script by Kurt Johnstad (who wrote 300 for the screen).Aquaman swims into theaters July 27, 2018.

It will be interested to see what Wan, whose credits include Saw and The Conjuring, will bring to the comic book character who is also set make a cameo in Batman vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice. Also in the line-up is screenwriter Kurt Johnstad who wrote for 300.
The title character will be played by Jason Momoa who is best known for his role as Khal Drogo in Game of Thrones.
It’s still early to guess the kind of action to expect but it should be fast, loud and bloody.
